Chebe Hair Butter

Tonton Jeb Chebe Hair Butter blends three traditional hair ingredients in a rich butter base: chebe, ambunu and sump. Chebe comes from the hair-care tradition of the Basara women of Chad, ambunu is a cleansing herb, and sump is a Senegalese hair herb known by its Wolof name. Traditionally, the butter is worked into the lengths of the hair rather than the scalp, as part of a routine that helps keep the lengths feeling soft, coated and protected between washes. Warm a little between the palms and smooth it through damp or dry hair, from mid-length to ends. Made in Senegal, the butter is presented in a 150 g glass jar with a wooden lid.
