Lemon & Ginger Salt

Tonton Jeb Lemon & Ginger Salt is a seasoning salt blended in Senegal: coarse salt mixed with dried lemon zest and pieces of ginger. The lemon brings brightness and the ginger a gentle warmth, so a pinch finishes grilled fish, roasted vegetables, rice and salads without any other seasoning. It also works rubbed on chicken before it goes on the grill, or on the rim of a glass of bissap. Use it as a finishing salt at the table rather than during cooking, so the zest keeps its aroma. Made in Senegal, the salt is presented in a 150 g glass jar with a wooden lid.
